Haven't run since last Saturday night doing Pen-y-fan, so wanted to wake the legs up before tomorrows park run

Fast run - plan was to run 2 miles @ 6:20 pace. Had a strong wind behind for the first 1.2 miles so was quick, but then had to run into that on the way back. Not easy!

First run since Ironman - still tired but no pains, so not too bad

Just wanted to get a 'fast mile' in, so set off very slowly for half a mile, then tried a 'fast mile' but failed - rubbish! No probs though, just no speed...

Another  test run, 12 days after my previous one where my left knee had hurt a little.  This time I wore Sonic gloves as it was a bit wet, and I managed the full run, all ran correctly with no heel strikes, and no knee pain at all.

It wasn't an easy run though, considering the not too fast pace, but I expected that after all my time off.

First run for 3 and a half weeks. My left knee has been sore since I ran a 10k training run a week before the Cardiff Mo run (which I ran, with a sore knee, which made my knee very sore!). I waslked 2 miles yesterday and my knee was fine, and cycling recently has caused a little sensation in the knee but no real pain, so I thought I would try a run...

I wore merrel trail gloves to try to run 'properly'.

The first mile was fine, but after about 1.5 miles I could feel me knee - not sore, but it was noticably not right. A few minutes later I stopped, as I didn't want to cause any more damage and it was begninng to geel sensitive. I really want to 10 an off-road 10k in Bath (Bath Skyline series) on Sunday, but now I'm not sure, as my knee definately isnt right yet

On the positive side, I had no real trouble going at 7min/mile pace. I'd planned to just run comfortably, and thats what I did. I could have gone quicker quite easily, so 3 weeks off hasn't totally ruined me.

Easy paced short run before the Llanelli triathlon on Sunday

 Easy half mile, fast half mile, easyish half mile, hardish fast mile. The hard bits were hard! Breathing was tough again. 

Ran 'properly' in the sonic gloves, perhaps even too much forefront and not letting the heel land at all for long stretches, but feet and legs are fine afterwards (though some toe ends are a bit sore from rubbing).

 Just a short easy(ish) run in the sonic gloves. Ran at least a mile on mud track and the football fields - very slippery and quite hard work. Feet were fine, may have been heel striking a little. Pretty windy too.

(didnt run yesterday as it was chucking down, and I thought an extra day might help my sore foot and knee).

Only did 2 miles today as my left foot (top of) and right knee were both really quite sore - maybe I overdid my record run on Monday? Didnt feel well at all really during the run so cut it short. Nice low hr, but very slow - not a good run at all!

Both achilles heels sore from the previous run, now very sore! Pretty consistent time compared to previous run though (despite it feeling very slow when I started due to sore ankles).

I haven't had a stitch for years but was just beginning to get one for the last 100 meters of today's run, not sure why...

Ankles were fine, just the achillees tendon in both legs felt sre, especially at the end of the run

Ankles hurt as soon as I started this run, and afterwards my right ankle hurt for nearly two weeks, hence the time gap before my next run

First run wearing new Nike Vomero shoes - very comfy, soft, and quiet compared to the ones I wore on my first run

First run of any distance for over 10 years (last run was in 1999, I did the Chase corporate challenge 3.5 miles, took 34 minutes). Legs were very sore after this run and the next day too
